Alongside my wife Hillary, I started filming little projects while we were kiteboarding and surfing on the shores of North Carolina and later the Bahamas. It didn’t take long for me to realize how much I enjoyed bringing stories to life through video. When I began filming weddings, we found the perfect combination of everything I loved — people, places, adventure, and storytelling. What started as a creative outlet grew into a business that has taken us across BC and given us the opportunity to film hundreds of incredible celebrations for the past 10 years.

Cameron Videography is based in Squamish, BC, right in the heart of the Sea to Sky. I know the area well — from Whistler and Pemberton to Squamish, Britannia Beach, and the many lakes, mountains, trails, and backroads in between. After years of filming throughout the region, I’ve built up a great sense of where to go, when the light is best, and how to make the most of whatever the weather decides to do. That local knowledge is a big part of what I bring to a wedding. I’m there to capture the day as it happens, while also knowing when a mountain backdrop, quiet trail, alpine viewpoint, or change in weather might make for something pretty special.

When I'm not behind the camera, I'm exploring the great outdoors — kiteboarding, surfing, biking, or skiing. That love for the outdoors naturally finds its way into the way I film.
Our family includes Zeus the dog, who loves every adventure and trail, and Sol the cat, who joined us during our time in the Bahamas. Hillary and I are also raising our two sons, Audrick and Logan, and family life has become an even bigger part of what makes our lives so fulfilling. We spend our time together exploring, getting outside, and enjoying everything that life in Squamish has to offer. It’s a busy and adventurous life, and we feel incredibly lucky to share it all together.
